How It Works
Open your Google Sheet and click Authorize Google Sheets in the extension popup.
Select a date range — Today, Yesterday, or a custom date.
Click Run Report. The extension visits each platform, scrapes spend and revenue data, and writes it to your sheet.

Overview
Dealio is a Chrome extension that scrapes spend and revenue data from marketing platforms you are already logged into and writes that data to your Google Sheets spreadsheet. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Data Collection
Dealio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data flows directly between your browser and Google Sheets using Google's official API.
What Data Is Accessed
The extension reads spend and revenue figures from marketing platform pages that you have open in your browser. This data is only used to write to the Google Sheet you specify. No data is cached, logged remotely, or shared with any third party.
Google Sheets Authentication
Dealio uses Chrome's built-in chrome.identity API with OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with Google Sheets. Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Chrome and Google — the extension never sees or stores your password.
Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:
- activeTab / tabs — to access and activate browser tabs for scraping
- scripting — to inject scraper scripts into marketing platform pages
- storage — to save your settings locally in Chrome (sheet ID, preferences, toggle states)
- identity — to authenticate with Google Sheets via OAuth 2.0
- notifications — to show desktop notifications when reports complete
- Host permissions — limited to the specific marketing platform domains listed in the manifest, plus the Google Sheets API
Third-Party Services
The only external service Dealio communicates with is the Google Sheets API, using your authenticated Google account. No analytics, tracking, advertising, or other third-party services are used.
Data Storage
All settings (sheet ID, scraper preferences, toggle states) are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. No data is stored on external servers.
